Pumpkin Harvest

September 18, 2011

Getting ready for fall before the frost falls on the pumpkin patch. I made these cards as gifts. However, the last two are available in my shop.

I am linking these lovely cards to The Cutting Cafe's weekly CASE challenge. The challenge is to Copy And Selectively Edit the sketch or Copy And Share Everything.
Here is the sketch:

Here are my cards. I created the layered pumpkin with my Pazzles. Then I randomly hand-stamped this sweet, swirly-dotty pattern. (Sorry i do not have the brand.) Here's a little tip. Often I feel that the foam dots/squares are to thick. So I cut an scrap of cardstock to give the right height of layering (sometimes two). Dressed the card up a bit more with flowers, brads or blings. And, if you know me, I finished the card with fibers and/or ribbon. I think the cards are relaxing. Thank you for taking a look.

  1. Thanks a lot for your comment on my blog Krista, your cards are beautiful, I love the stamping on the pumpkin and ribbons of course. Most of my cards have ribbon on them, it adds texture and softness. I did the embossing on a board as I haven't got the embossing tool yet, I would have liked the embossing to stand out more but I was scared of ripping the card.
