Valentine's Treat Boxes

February 17, 2012

Don't you hate when people blog their ideas too close to the holiday? Or worse, after the fact? I do. How am I supposed to use those ideas on an occasion that has passed by?!

Well, I am going to do that today! I made these ON Valentine's Day for my kids' teachers and brought to the afternoon class party. I put wrapped chocolates inside. I wanted to share with you. I want to demonstrate to you the versatility of the cone ornaments I made at Christmastime (here and here). And, maybe drum up some business! I am happy to customize these cones to your holiday, event or color scheme.

I created the cut file. The cone ornaments measure just under 5.5 inches long. The Valentine embellishments are pre-made, but I do not remember the company.

This one is my favorite. It is less so a Valentine style and more so a Party style. Keep reading after the photos for a contest!!

I love the stick pin! Tell me what you think that stick pin represents in the above photo. I will enter all correct guesses in a random drawing and the winner will receive the Easter Egg tag pictured below. I designed this cute cut file too. I am just having so much fun with my Pazzles cutter. (My next post will be a tutorial on how to make the Easter Egg Bunny tag--with plenty of time for Easter preparations.) I will draw on Monday, Feb 19 at 9 am. Please tell your friends.

This stick pin on this tag represents and Easter egg!

  1. Love the cone boxes! I only have a Cricut Expression and all the talk of cut files confuses me but I would really love that box! I think the stick pin represents Cupid's arrow. Thanks for the chance to win.
