Home Decor Hop Day 2, Saturday (Runs through Sunday)

April 23, 2011

Come hop with us as we feature over 40 different home decor projects with instructions on how you can duplicate them! Make sure you visit the lineup each day because a lot of us gals will feature a new project for each of the three days! I have made a different item for each of the three days of the hop. I did make a different item for each of the three days. See my Easter Egg Boxes from Day 1.

You should have arrived here from Faithfule Creations. Faith is the first stop and our hostess this weekend. Be sure you follow her directions for a chance at winning extra blog candy. My candy is listed at the very end of this post.

Your next stop is Handmade by Angelica.

Deliciously Edible Decor!
Today's decoration is for the kitchen! I made some fun Popsicle Magnets. They were easy enough to design in my Pazzles software and cut. I made a back to them and sandwiched the popsicle stick in between. This gives a cleaner look. They are fun to embellish. You could use traditional colors that represent the popsicles that you find inside your fridge as well. I do have some of these and other cute summer treats available in my online Paper Cafe.

Blog Candy
The blog candy I am offering is somewhat related to home decor. I have this lovely 8 X 8 Cookbook Recipe Journal Kit. The theme is Bar-B-Que. It is fun and cute. It comes with a very nice hard cover, papers, stickers and recipe cards. I sure hope that some one who likes BBQ wins!! For your chance to win, become a follower and leave a comment. Not required, I do invite you to check my fan page on facebook. I often posts project there that I do not post on my blog.

  1. These magnets are adorable! I like them almost as much as the eggs except that I adore boxes so the eggs win! LOL I just joined your blog and I can already tell that I'm going to find some wonderful ideas here! Love the Barbeque album kit too! I consider myself the barbeque queen of Tarrant County, Texas! In fact, I have some of the dimensional stickers that go with that album but I didn't find the album itself at the store so I planned to make my own mini barbeque cookbook with them. You can just send that on to me! Haha!

  2. Wonderful creations, love both projects! Great Job. One question how easy is the Pazzles to use and what is the cost of this cutter? Looking for something other than a cricut. TFS!
