It's time for another fun challene over at Paper Playtime. For May and June I have been asked to be on the design team. So, I am not just playing along, I am hoping to inspire my followers and those of you who follow Paper Playtime.
Challenge #45 is to make a Tall Card. A tall card measures 9" by 8" and scored at 4 inches. You can choose any theme. You can go to PP to see other ideas--And enter your own tall (or wide) card. Challenge ENDS Saturday, May 21 at NOON.
I needed a graduation card for a high school senior. I cut the pieces using my Pazzles cutter. The hat is a built in file. I altered it a bit to give it the 3-D affect. I also put the graduate's name inside using cut letters to emulate the "GRAD '11" on the outside (he has a short name). I used the school colors of maroon and gold. Do you think I should fancy up the corners with a corner punch?
