Happy Fall. It is time for me to present to you my challenge with my current design team: "made with love (and paper)." made with love consists of a group of gals that love paper-crafting! Each month we challenge ourselves to complete projects with specific requirements. We are still a fairly new group. This is our nineth assignment. Please stop by and do join us in this month's challenge!! You are welcome to submit your creation to the challenge.
The made with love (and paper) challenge for November focuses on the theme Gratitude. The requirements are fall colors, swirls, plaid or checkers, layering.
You have heard me speak of my love for SVG Shop in the past. Eleanor created a beautiful cut file for a fall wreath. I could not wait to give it a try. Of course the file is quite versatile--perfect for adapting the Design Team requirements. I turned my wreath in to a "Wreath of Gratitude." After explaining to the cave boys what gratitude means, I asked them and big sister to tell me why they are thankful for Grandma Bev and Grandpa Pete. These grandparents are my parents and live 3 miles from us. I took the kids' sentiments of gratitude, added some of my own and created this lovely fall wreath. I decided to hand write the thoughts--making it more personal. One suggestion I have is to have your kids write the their thoughts on the leaves. (I am quite behind on this assignment and I am making it while they are in school.)
If you are interested, I am happy to make you a wreath. You can leave it blank or add your thanks when you receive it.
