This week the design team at The Cutting Cafe will share with you a sampling of folded card templates that Regina has created. She makes it easy for you to keep up on your card giving. Each card design comes with an envelope.
I am sharing a very simple card. I have chosen to use the template for a Card Fold With Circle Window. I like that all of the patterns in this collection included a score line. I simply turn down the pressure of the blade on my Pazzles when "cutting" the score line. There is an optional piece that imitates the front of the card fold. This can be used to cut a different color/pattern of card stock or patterned paper. I made one additional twist. Using my Pazzles software I made an "inline" (versus and outline) of the card front. I placed this piece inside my card to dress it up. You'll see that later.
Did you know that The Cutting Cafe offers digi stamps too? I used Elisha Jean as the focal point of my card. I printed several layers of her and pieced them to give dimension. I used water color pencils to color my digi Elisha Jean. (They are very easy to use for blending. Although I did not blend colors today.)
I hope you like my card. Do hop over to The Cutting Cafe blog post for April 7 to see more card designs and inspiration. The files I used are listed and linked after the pictures.
