Buzzin 'Bee' With a Little Luv

We are back and we are crafting full speed at made with love (and paper). Our design team had a well-earned rest the past few months. We are indeed, rested and ready to share and inspire you again.

With the summer months comes warm weather, sunshine, flowers, beach balls and, yes, bugs! And that is what we bring you this month.

requirements: use bugs as inspiration for your project

I am so behind on cards. So this challenge helped me to get a bunch made around the same theme of bugs. Most of my buggers are bees. Bees and the honeycomb theme have my interest as of late. I love embossing paper. Embossed paper is so versatile. I have the Sizzix Embossing Boutique (it looks like a purse). I did not have honeycomb folder (used to make the impression in the paper). My friend Sarah embossed honeycomb paper and mailed it to me as a RAK. Thanks Sarah. I have the other embossing plates that you will see. I look forward to making more. Although I did give in and buy my own honeycomb embossing folder.

A miniature seed pack and a layered fly sticker lend to an old fashioned flavor.

These two square cards include honeycomb and bee cut files from the amazing Bird's Cards. I created the digi stamp sentiment myself.

These last two do not have a bug, but they are part of the family with their honeycomb!
