I think I am getting the hang of this scrapbook thing! I still like it simple. I prefer that the focus be on the event in the pictures--not all the embellishing.
I created this layout just in time for Valentine's Day. Although, it can be used for any sweet occasion.
I created the strawberries and the page title myself. The round frame with flourish and flower are a cut file from SVG Attic. I used the flourish throughout the spread, tying the frames together with that same element. The red is pretty deep and I hope it comes through in the photos. The background paper is a pale green with inlaid silver foil flowers. You will see that the ribbons are loose in the photos. The idea is that the ribbon and the flourishes will go on top of each picture. So use your imagination.
As I am still new at scrapping, I invite your feedback. Ha! I can change this one because nothing is adhered! I was wondering if I should add white prima flowers?? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
I am entering this layout in the current contest at SVG Attic. The team there has invited us to create any type of project using at least one element from an SVG Attic file and use glitter or metallic accents.
