After being a stay at home mom for the past 18 years, I was blessed this past fall. I was hired by my son;s school as the Volunteer Coordinator. It is very part time and fits my schedule and personal needs perfectly. This work is half of what I did b.k. or before kids. In those 18 years I have been on the other the other side as a volunteer myself. You would be amazed how much "stuff" gets done by volunteers. I had some parents come in to school and create a scene for our staff lounge door. I wanted to play "craft" with them! So I when I was home I crafted up thank you cards for those volunteers.
I have used two images/digi stamps from A Day for Daisies. There are many adorable images to select and I love the collection of Fairies. I'm playing along with the monthly challenge of which the theme is layers. I printed multiple copies of the images and cut pieces to layer with foam. This adds dimension. I am not a digi stamp "artist" so I do not have a collection of fancy pens nor a favorite medium for coloring. Some of the colors on my images are made with a "paint marker" and some with gel pens.

Late in reading this. Love these cards! Hope the job is going well.
Love the way you improvised with the supplies you have on hand, Krista. I bet your volunteers will be delighted with your personalized thank you cards. Thanks for playing along with our Two or More Layers Challenge on ADFD. Hugs, Cathy ADFD DT
